Finally +3396003964(HATI HATI SMS VIRUS) Removed

Finally I am able to remove the +3396003964(HATI HATI SMS VIRUS). I will tell you how to remove the virus.

Well I got to know that “Hati Hati virus” comes from MMC Memory card, so I thought let clean the virus from windows. So I get card reader and I scanned the memory card using Kaspersky Antivirus, Finally Kaspersky shows Memory card was infected from the virus, so I deleted those files. Thought the virus is removed completely. Nahh!!! still can’t remove the virus completely, the virus was reside at Mobile Memory and virus tries to send sms automatically to +3396003964.

+3396003964 (HATI HATI SMS VIRUS)

After that I tried to install mobile antivirus in my Nokia N70, and I scanned it, can’t detect the virus. Actually I don’t have internet access in my mobile system, If I do have I could update the virus database and remove that virus. I am not able to use that option, so I have to use another option.

Then after I followed up the following steps,

1. Create backup the address book, calendar and settings using “Nokia PC Suite”
2. Format the MMC card from my computer using card reader
3. Use Deep Reset using code (*#7370#)
4. then it will ask for lock code
5. use 12345 as lock code and press OK
6. Now Mobile will be restart and it will back to previous settings

Hmmm!! now my mobile is very much faster that previous. Virus were removed completely. Only I have to install all application again, and have to restore all from the previous backup file.

Now my mobile is free from the virus, my mobile is very much faster than previous. Hope if guys have problem with the HatiHati virus, this post will help you to remove.

Nokia N70 Mobile

You can use reset code *#7780″ instead of *#7370#.

Different between the code is :

Normal Reset (*#7780#) : Restores ini files from rom but preserves user data (photos, 3rd party apps etc)

Deep Reset (*#7370#) : This reformats completely the C: drive. All applications and files stored on this drive will be lost and clean default files will be rewritten.

Finally I am able to remove the +3396003964 (HATI HATI SMS VIRUS).

Protect your phone from being stolen or sold.

Today I was just browsing the site. I found one very much interesting site www.myphonesafe.com

They said:

  • An estimated 200,000 mobile telephones were left in taxis around the world during the last six months.
  • People get more upset over lost phones than over parking tickets, trip to a dentist or in my case a massive hangover. Almost half (43 %) of mobile phone owners have lost, damaged or had their phone stolen at some point. Three-fourths (72 %) of them never got their phone back and 49 % were able to replace less than half of the stored contact numbers.
  • More than a fifth (21 %) of respondents said that the worst part of misplacing a mobile phone is knowing that some contact numbers will never be recovered. When asked how losing a phone would affect them, 17 % thought it was worse than losing a wallet or keys.
  • Polls show that 10 % of those who have lost or damaged a phone did so while on vacation, usually in a bar, restaurant or while engaged in a sporting or adventure activity. Millions of mobile phones are left in airplanes, airports, rental cars and hotel rooms each year, particularly over the vacation period.

So they help mobile users to to fight the mobile theft or loss.

I registered my phone with my phone IMEI number. I don’t know how it will works in real.

HAMROSMS.COM – Free SMS to Nepal

Once again a new site hamrosms.com, site to send free sms to nepal. Not only Nepal you can send sms to other countries like Malaysia, Qatar, Saudi Arabia. I register my mobile number in this site and send it in my own mobile, well I got the sms in few seconds, wow!! this is great. I am a NTC Pre-Paid mobile user, and I tried it first in NTC mobile. And after that I tried in Spice Nepal Mobile ofcourse they can get it, so both NTC and Spice Nepal Mobile users can get sms through this site.

Then after one thing came in my mind, there must be limitation of sending the sms, so I tried to sending sms. Well the limit of sending sms is 5, only five sms can be send per day. Hmmm, so its very limit, well you can send 10 sms per day throught NTC sms website only for NTC Mobile Users. I have talked about sending sms in Mero Mobile from your email and also sending sms to other International countries through wadja.com.

At the end I found very uneasy in hamrosms.com is we have to submit the sms form twice. First form is typing and sending message to receiver, and the second form is sender’s mobile and access code. Welll I feel very uneasy on that. Better they create systems like NTC websms does.
